With two-thirds of the 2017-2018 sports school year in the books, 40 schools of the 265 AIA member schools have won at least one state title.

Leading the way is Chaparral with five titles -- fall boys golf, boys swimming, girls swimming, girls basketball and girls soccer. Next is Xavier Prep with four (swimming, volleyball, soccer and golf) and  Northland Prep with three (girls cross country, boys cross country and fall girls soccer and Sunnyslope with three (badminton, girls volleyball and boys basketball).  Seven schools have won two titles (Casteel, Chandler, Desert Vista, Flagstaff, Page, Salpointe and Seton Catholic).
