PLAYOFF SOCCER: 12 Southern Arizona regions settled

The 4A, 5A and 6A play-in tournaments will take place on Thursday, Jan. 25 and the first round of the state tournaments is slated for Tuesday, Jan. 30 for the girls and Wednesday, Jan. 31 for the boys.
The AZPreps365.com Bracket Release Show is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 26 at 2 p.m.
BOYS
6A SOUTHERN TOURNAMENT
1-2: Rincon/UHS 6, Kofa 1
3-4: Sunnyside 3, Cibola 0
5-6: San Luis 5, Tucson 4
Rincon wins the region while the rest of the teams look for the play-in tournament at the very least.
5A SOUTHERN
Cienega 3, Ironwood Ridge 0
Cienega wins the region while Ironwood Ridge should head to play-in tournament.
5A SONORAN
Desert View wins the region.
4A KINO
Salpointe 2, Catalina Foothills 1
Salpointe wins the region. Catalina Foothills might still earn a bye.
4A GILA
Douglas wins the region.
3A REGION 7
Sabino wins the region.

GIRLS
6A SOUTHERN TOURNAMENT
1-2: Rincon/UHS 1, Kofa 0
3-4: Tucson 3, Cibola 0
5-6: Sunnyside 2, San Luis 1
Rincon wins the region while Tucson, Cibola and Kofa are set for the play-in tournament at the very least.
5A SOUTHERN
Ironwood Ridge 4, No. 6 Cienega 0
Ironwood Ridge claims the region title. Cienega is hoping for a bye.
5A SONORAN
Marana 1, Flowing Wells 1
Both teams tied for region championship but Marana earns automatic playoff bid due to better conference record. Flowing Wells should qualify for the play-in tournament.
4A KINO
Catalina Foothills 1, Salpointe 1
Both squads tie for the region championship. The Lancers earn the automatic bid due to an undefeated overall record. Both are ranked in the top four.
4A GILA
Douglas wins the region.
3A REGION 7
Sabino 6, Pusch Ridge 1
Sabino guarantees a piece of the conference title. If Sahuarita beats Tanque Verde on Thursday night then the Mustangs will earn the automatic playoff bid.
