INDIANAPOLIS, IN (October 26, 2017) — Dissinger Reed, a 30-plus-year leader in providing insurance coverage for activity- and athletic-related high school organizations, has agreed to a three-year renewal of its corporate partnership with the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS). The contract is effective through August 31, 2020.

For many years, members of four NFHS professional organizations have received insurance coverage from Dissinger Reed, which is based in Overland Park, Kansas. Dissinger Reed has insured the unique risks of state high school associations and individual high schools with the most comprehensive and cost-effective coverage that the market offers. As the nation’s leading broker for state high school associations, Dissinger Reed’s risk management approach and specific insurance for student-athletes, non-athletic activities and camps/clinics has allowed it to provide unmatched coverage while controlling institutional and organizational expenditures.

“The NFHS is excited to renew and move forward in its three-year corporate partnership with Dissinger Reed,” said Bob Gardner, NFHS executive director. “Dissinger Reed has proved its value as the top insurer of high school activity and athletic organizations that are affiliated with our extensive membership. Our professional-association members have received great coverage from Dissinger Reed, showcasing how vital the partnership is for each organization. We look forward to continuing our very important partnership with Dissinger Reed.”

“Dissinger Reed is excited and proud to continue our corporate partnership with the NFHS,” said Christian Reed, chief executive officer. “It has always been our mission to strategically align ourselves with those who support and develop students involved in athletics and activities across the country. This partnership allows us to do just that. We look forward to another three years and building on this success for many years to come.”
