Arizona should be well-represented in NFL draft

April 27, 2011 by Don Ketchum, AZPreps365

National Football League rosters have had their share of Arizona high school products over the years.
Beginning Thursday (April 28) with the first round of the 2011 draft, the rosters likely will be infused with more Arizona talent.
Some might not be drafted, but could catch on with teams as free agents.
There are three players who could be drafted in the first round – Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara (Glendale Apollo), California defensive end Cameron Jordan (Chandler) and Arizona defensive end/linebacker Brooks Reed (Tucson Sabino).
Congrats to these players and the others who will realize their dream. Arizona should be well-represented once again.
