Chandler HIgh again plays host to its annual Wolf Howl boys volleyball tournament on Friday March 4 and Saturday March 5 with 20 teams entered in one of the first invitational for schools in 2016.

Chandler High and nearby Chandler school Arizona College Prep are the sites for tourney. Teams entered are: Desert Ridge, Mesa Mountain View, Mesa, Gilbert, Highland, Boulder Creek, Deer Valley, Brophy Prep, Sandra Day O'Connor, Chandler, Corona del Sol, Perry, Desert Vista, Basha, Cienega, Notre Dame Prep, Seton Catholic, Williams Field, Mesquite and Marana.

Brophy is the defending tournament champ and the state runner-up last season. The Broncos went on to finish as state runner-up to Hamilton. Boys volleyball added a second division this season so two state champions will be crowned in the middle of May. Boulder Creek is considered the favorite and opened its season with a 3-0 win over defending champ Hamilton on Tuesday.
