Gilbert Ibarra scored 31 points, including seven three pointers, in Bradshaw Mountain’s 70-65 win at Verrado Friday night.

Bradshaw Mountain led by 10 points for most of the second half, when Verrado failed to hit its threes to cut into the lead. The game pitted two teams ranked in the top-10 in the Division III power rankings.

Verrado’s Isaiah Harrison’s 3-point play with 5:47 remaining in the second period gave his team its final lead, 17-16, in the game. Bradshaw Mountain (9-2) then went on a 16-4 run in the up-tempo game to grab control.

Verrado finally hit a couple of three pointers to close in but ran out of time. Parker Howard tallied 16 points for Verrado (10-4).
