MaxPreps breaks down one of the Top 10 high school football games of the week.

Chandler (Ariz.) at Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas)

Why it's big: Bishop Gorman's first game under head coach Kenneth Sanchez is the first of two it will play against Xcellent 25 opponents to open the year. After serving as defensive coordinator the past five years, Sanchez took the reins when his brother Tony became head coach at UNLV.

No. 16 Chandler already has a win under its belt, a 56-10 wipeout of Pinnacle (Phoenix) last Friday. In his first start at quarterback, senior Mason Moran was a near-perfect 13-for-14 through the air for 180 yards and two touchdowns. The Oregon State commit also ran for a two scores. Four-star senior running back Chase Lucas had only one carry in the game, but he took it to the house for an 80-yard touchdown.

Names to watch: Bishop Gorman returns quarterback Tate Martell, who was a MaxPreps Sophomore All-American last year and has started since he was a freshman. 247Sports ranks the 5-foot-10 Texas A&M recruit the top dual-threat prospect in his class. His top target is fellow five-star junior Tyjon Lindsey (5-9, 165).

In addition to Moran and Lucas, Chandler has at least four other seniors expected to earn FBS scholarships. The most heralded is 6-4, 210-pound senior receiver N'keal Harry, a four-star recruit.
