Soccer matches are down to two or three for most teams in the East Valley this week (Monday Jan. 27 through Thursday Jan. 30) so keep an eye on these as they may effect hostiing/qualifying for state tournament play that begins Feb. 4. There are some quality basketball matchups as well, but hoops continues for another week after this one. Also this is the final week of the regular season for wrestling, which begins its section tournaments Feb. 4.
