Preview: Notre Dame at Hamilton

September 7, 2012 by Game Previews, AZPreps365

Notre Dame Prep and Hamilton High are playing tonight after a trip overseas to Ireland. Notre Dame defeated Father Judge (Philadelphia, PA) 20-6. Hamilton, however, fell to Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks, CA) 27-15, and they came back home with an 0-2 starting record.

Tonight’s game is a must-win for Hamilton. The Huskies have never started a season with a loss under Coach Belles, let alone go 0-2 in their first games.  This week, as reported by Richard Obert of AZCentral.com, Cole Luke will play on offense as a slot receiver. He will also play in his usual cornerback position.  Hamilton plays their first home season of the game tonight, which can possibly add as a boost to their game on the field.

Notre Dame Prep has renewed confidence after their win in Ireland, and look to bring that intensity to the field against Hamilton. They have a 1-1 record so far under coach Gary Gregory.

It’s a non-conference match-up this week as Hamilton looks to get their first win of the season, and Notre Dame Prep fights to have a winning streak and knock off a Division I team.
