Canyon del Oro sophomore Jordan Tees shot a 4-under-par 32 to beat the field on Tuesday at the Omni Tucson National Catalina Course. Tees birdied the first three holes and the seventh for his impressive round. As a team, Ironwood Ridge and Canyon del Oro tied at 172 with Marana Mountain View taking third place (176) and Walden Grove taking fourth (178).

The regular season for Division II ends on Oct. 24 and the top 12 teams and the top 18 individuals not attached to a qualifying team will make the state playoffs set for Oct. 29-30.  As of now, Ironwood Ridge (19), Canyon del Oro (22), Walden Grove (27) and Mountain View (32) will not qualify as a team but Ironwood Ridge junior Nick Woodward (10) and Tess (12) will qualify as individuals.
