PHOENIX (Sept. 30) -- The Arizona Interscholastic Association has a new home for its Friday Night Football Wrap Up Show. Starting Friday, Oct. 3 fans will get to hear host Cody Cameron and the statewide group of reporters on Arizona Sports 98.7 FM.
The Friday Night Football Wrap Up Show, the flagship radio program of the AIA celebrating 20 years on air this year, is known for sharing prep football to a statewide audience.
“This is an exciting opportunity to be on a platform that knows the importance of highlighting prep sports,” said AIA Executive Director Dr. Jim Dean. “It’s a natural fit to work with a longstanding organization in Bonneville with our show that is celebrating 20 years over the airwaves. We look forward to showcasing the very deserving student-athletes, coaches and schools on Arizona Sports 98.7.”
“Our commitment to covering high school athletics has always been important to the Arizona Sports brand,” said Ryan Hatch, senior vice president and market manager for Bonneville Phoenix. “We are excited to formally partner with the AIA to host its signature Friday Night Football Wrap Up Show and share our community’s passion around prep sports with the largest sports audience in the Southwest.”
Additionally, the Saturday morning radio show that runs throughout the year will also get a new home. The association is currently remodeling the program. Once details are finalized there will be an official announcement.
