Yuma Mesa Del Sol Golf Course: Saturday, Sept. 13

 

Salpointe senior Ary Mulick shot a birdie on the 11th hole at the Mesa Del Sol Golf Course on Saturday to take a one-stroke lead on Gila Ridge senior Trent Karvoski. A birdie on the 12th hole put Mulick up by two strokes but he gave that cushion back on the 15th hole with a bogey but Karvoski was unable to make up the stroke down the stretch.

On the girl’s side, Hamilton junior Emily Zeng held on to beat her freshman teammate 82-85.
