The experience gives Arizona female athletes an opportunity to understand and improve their performance and learn about how to prevent injury. Funds raised will go to a deserving high school’s girls’ flag football program.

Registration for the event is closed and is sold out.

WHAT:
Banner Sports Medicine Scottsdale High Performance Center, in partnership with Arizona Interscholastic Association, is helping grow the game of high school girls flag football across the state. On Aug. 2, media outlets are invited to watch as female athletes participate in a free flag football combine at Banner Sports Medicine’s High Performance Center in Scottsdale. They will receive in-depth guidance from sports medicine and performance experts on how to prepare and perform their best, as well as offering injury prevention strategies. Enrollment funds from the event will support a deserving Arizona high school to develop their girls flag football program. The 2025 fall flag football season begins Sept. 15.

“Girls’ flag football is growing exponentially – and we want to provide support and give these girls confidence that they’re prepared to be at the top of their game this upcoming season,” said Tyler Wallace, director of the High Performance Center. “The combine allows us and our partners to engage with student athletes around the state and give them access to the facility, the technology, and our performance and sports medicine team to help them learn how to prevent injury and optimize their on-field performance. I look forward to a fun and competitive morning.”
