High School Baseball National Championship Series

July 4-6: Omaha, Nebraska

 

Arizona beat Kansas 10-6 in the semifinal round of the High School Baseball National Championship Series taking place in Ohama, Nebraska on Sunday to set up a championship game against California later that night.

California (5-0) held on to beat Arizona 2-1 to win the series for the third time since 2022. Arizona finished in second place with a record of 4-1.

Cash Duley (Cactus Shadows) got the win with 4Ks, Grady Openden (Brophy) collected 3 Ks. Baylor Denny (Casteel) 2 RBIs; Francisco Rivero Jr. (CDO) 2 RBIs; Abram Sherrin (Liberty) went 2-3 with an RBI.

Abram Sherrin (Liberty) and Baylor Denny (Casteel) combined for five strikeouts. Jackson Weber (Horizon) had an RBI and Colton Raetzman (CDO) went 2-3 at the plate.
