Julia Moore, one of the captains of the Gilbert Christian Spiritline, is enjoying her 2020 cheer season despite COVID-19 restrictions. Julia Moore has cheered all four years of high school including her Senior year, which is this year. The class of 2021 has it pretty rough due to COVID-19, but Julia is staying positive and making the best of her senior year. “This year’s cheer season is very different because we are not competing and we are very limited in what we can do.” Julia said.

Julia thinks the cheer team is much closer this year compared to last year. Julia also thinks being cheer captain makes her more aware of her actions. She does feel pressured not to mess up during practices.
