Special Olympics Arizona to host Breakfast with Champions!

September 19, 2020 by Seth Polansky, AZPreps365

The work done at Special Olympics Arizona is important and makes a huge difference in the lives of Arizonans with intellectual disabilities. It has been a difficult year for charities because of the pandemic, so this year more than ever it’s important for SOAZ to spread the word about what the organization is about.

This year for the first time SOAZ will be combining the Phoenix, Tucson and Northern Arizona Breakfast With Champions events into one “virtual” event to be held on YouTube Live. The best news is since the event is online, there is no limit to the number of people who can attend. The event is free and it’ll be a great way to learn more about Special Olympics Arizona.

Please join SOAZ from 6-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 28th where you’ll hear from phenomenal athlete speakers, coaches, and families as we continue to advance the mission to inspire and celebrate inclusion.

Even though this is a “breakfast” event, it’s being held from 6-7 p.m. SOAZ thought the evening would be a better time to watch a virtual event so the organization figured why not just make it “breakfast for dinner.” So grab a bowl of cereal, make some pancakes, or whip up some scrambled eggs and join the great folks at Special Olympics Arizona. Feel free to invite your friends and family!
