Gilbert, Arizona, Gilbert Classical High School. On Monday, December 1st the women’s soccer team played their very first game and beat Gilbert Classical 6-2. Senior Hannah Burk scored 4 times, senior Landyn Lovelady and sophomore Emily Collard scored the last two as well. This game was hosted at Gilbert Classical at 3 o’clock. Junior Sarah Johnson said, “One of the things I’m most excited about this season is just the community of girls we have. Every year this team becomes my second family and it is amazing to grow so close with every girl out there! This makes playing a tough sport so much easier because we play for one another, rather than ourselves. Everything we do this season is for God and each other. We’ve got a strong team and we will definitely have an amazing season!” Senior Kira McWilliams also had to say “It’s great to start my senior season off with a win and can’t wait for the rest of the season and possibly state!”

The Lady Knights are poised to finish this year.
