Winslow raced out to a 33-0 halftime lead, before the Bulldogs posted a 49-14 freedom football game victory.

Winslow improved its record to 2-1. The Bulldogs host the Chinle Wildcats (1-1) on Friday, September 13 at 7 p.m. in a freedom game.

Winslow quarterback Jace Lyons completed 5-of-8 passes for 67 yards, two touchdowns passes and had one aerial picked off.

Lyons connected with a 5 yard touchdown pass with receiver Canyon Brimhall. Lyons found Robert Wilbanks on a 20 yard scoring strike.

Wilbanks rushed for 77 yards on 7 carries, scoring one touchdown. Mason Scott had a stellar night. Scott rushed for an impressive 223 yards on 18 rushes, scoring a pair of touchdowns. Cylis Gonzales scored a touchdown for Winslow.
